Ms. Amber Williams
The Presidents' Club, Business Services Director
"Many in the 'wireless world' believe this is a great time to invest in Northern Ireland. The guys I work with know Belfast is a cool city and it has fantastically educated people. The Presidents' Club makes for a potent cocktail, with access to top talent from Creative Industry, the Tech Sector, Venture Capital and Commerce."
Mike Flannery
President Redwood Partners & Co-Chair Friends of Belfast in New York
"We have taken our business from New York, into four States, over to Dublin and now into Northern Ireland – all by making friends who have helped us access new markets. It is really exciting to be a very small part of what is happening in Northern Ireland right now."
Eddie Dowling
President The Padded Wagon, New York
"We are an ambitious business and confident about the future. We intend to capitalise on the fantastic opportunity in our home market and hope to make new connections and to develop partnerships to explore opportunities further afield for our talented team."
David Hetherington
Managing Director IPS, Belfast
"Through initiatives like Project Children we have had the pleasure of getting to know many wonderful young people from both of Northern Ireland's traditions. Now it is important to create opportunity for these kids by building a strong economy. The Presidents' Club provides a home base from which to work."
Joseph Walsh
President Curtis Circulation Company, New York
"Promoting economic regeneration in the north and building a strong island economy is vital if our Ireland is going to be reconciled and become remembered for its young and innovative people. The Presidents' Club is a great place to meet like minded people."
Raymond Sexton, Dublin
CEO Tangible Ireland
"Although Irish blood flows in my veins, coming from the US, I find the support I gain from my friends who have local knowledge helps me not just to book the right hotels but also to identify the right lawyers to represent me or people to partner with. At the same time, The Presidents' Club provides a mechanism to give something back for all that we have received, which ironically is the motto of the City of Belfast!"
